Part 3: Strength Shared
Several months passed after the famous tournament.
Raka returned to training with greater determination than ever. Losing to Veera and watching his mother demonstrate the value of technique had changed him. He no longer cared only about being the strongest—he wanted to become the best wrestler he could be.
During a national wrestling training camp, he met Kavya, a towering 6'10" female wrestler known for her extraordinary strength and cheerful personality. She had won several championships and trained with incredible intensity every single day.
Unlike many people who were intimidated by Raka, Kavya treated him like any other athlete.
Their friendship grew quickly as they trained together, encouraged each other, and exchanged wrestling techniques. Before long, they began dating.
Everyone at the training camp joked that they were the strongest couple in Indian wrestling.
One morning, while preparing for a heavy workout, Kavya smiled and said,
"I've finished all the weight plates in this gym. Time for something more interesting."
Raka laughed.
"What do you have in mind?"
"You."
The other wrestlers gathered around, curious to see what she meant.
Raka trusted her completely and carefully climbed onto her broad shoulders.
Without the slightest struggle, Kavya stood up smoothly.
The crowd applauded.
She began walking lunges across the training hall with Raka balanced comfortably on her shoulders, smiling as if he weighed almost nothing.
When she finished the lunges, she gently lowered him, only to announce,
"That was just the warm-up."
Everyone laughed.
Next came squats.
Once again, Raka climbed onto her shoulders. Kavya performed a full set of deep, controlled squats with perfect balance. Even Raka was amazed by her power.
"You know," he said with a grin after climbing down, "I'm starting to think dating the strongest woman in the camp was a risky decision."
Kavya laughed.
"No complaints. You're my favorite training partner."
Their playful banter filled the gym with laughter.
Watching from the doorway, Raka's mother folded her arms with a proud smile.
She walked over to the couple and nodded approvingly.
"Strength is impressive," she said. "But what makes both of you special is that you use it to encourage each other, never to put each other down."
Raka and Kavya smiled.
From that day on, the pair became famous not only for their wrestling victories but also for the unique way they trained together. Whether practicing throws, improving technique, or using one another for creative strength exercises, they inspired young wrestlers across the country with their teamwork, discipline, and mutual respect.
The legendary journey of Raka continued—but now he no longer walked it alone.
