Part 2: The Arrival of Gauri, the Forest Giantess

A few weeks after the famous coconut-harvesting day, stories about Bindi's strength spread far beyond the jungle villages.

One morning, while Bindi and Mangal were gathering fruits near a river, the ground suddenly seemed to shake. Birds flew from the trees and monkeys chattered nervously.

"What is that?" Mangal asked.

From between the giant sal trees emerged another enormous tribal woman.

She was nearly 8½ feet tall, with broad shoulders, powerful legs, and arms thicker than tree branches. Her name was Gauri, and she belonged to a distant forest tribe from the mountains.

Behind her followed several villagers carrying baskets and tools.

Bindi stepped forward and smiled.

"Welcome, sister."

Gauri smiled back. "I have heard of the mighty Bindi. I came to meet the woman who can carry a giant husband on her shoulders."

Mangal laughed loudly.

"And I have heard of Gauri, the woman who once carried a fallen tree by herself."

The two giantesses quickly became friends.

Later that day, they heard cries for help from deeper in the jungle. A large wooden bridge over a stream had collapsed. Several villagers were stranded on the other side.

Without hesitation, Bindi and Gauri rushed to help.

They found a massive fallen tree trunk nearby. Normally it would take dozens of men to move it.

"Ready?" asked Gauri.

"Always," replied Bindi.

The two women lifted the enormous trunk together and carried it to the stream. Villagers watched in amazement as the giant pair walked through the shallow water, balancing the heavy log on their shoulders.

After placing it across the stream, they created a temporary bridge.

One by one, the stranded villagers crossed safely.

The villagers cheered.

That evening a great feast was held. Around the fire, the elders declared:

"The forest now has not one giant guardian, but two."

Bindi raised a coconut.

Gauri raised another.

And Mangal happily collected both of them before anyone else could.

Everyone burst into laughter as the stars shone above the jungle, marking the beginning of many adventures for the two strongest women in the forest. 🌴💪💪🥥
